(12 p.m. - 5 p.m.)
Today was a light day, there wasn't much to do but finish up the work from the previous day. I started my day going through the rest of Shannon's old 90's magazines. It was funny going through them and seeing how all the people in the magazine dressed back in the 90's. Some of the things they were wearing, today I wouldn't step foot in. I also noticed that a lot of the garments they were wearing people are wearing them today. I saw that crop tops were a favorite in the 90's and skinny jeans. Just like they are today, I even saw a lot of the girls wearing cut off short like we do today. My oh my how things have a way of coming back.
The second thing that was on the list to finish up was coming up with some print ideas. That took me longer then expected. It's easier to come up with print ideas for your own collection but when it's for someone else its hard. I had to understand how she places the prints on the garment, I even studied her garments in the shop now. To get a feel for how she places the print, the shape of the print and the print its self. I honestly can't wait to learn how she makes her prints, she told me that next week will be print week. The last thing I did today was iron the rest of her pattern pieces and made sure that they are organized by size.
Two weeks down already it seems like it will be over before you know it.
